Nowadays, many Danish ceramists decide to have their work produced in ceramic factories in the Far East.
However, I have chosen to produce everything by hand in my workshop in Sankt Paulsgade 72 in Copenhagen. Here you can see photos of casting cups:
Environmentally correct carbon dioxide firing
These salad dishes are produced with less carbon dioxide emission than usually.
Three salad dishes are now fired with the same amount of energy that was formerly used
to produce only one salad dish.
This is possible because I fire the dishes upside down, placed inside each other.
I do not use any dangerous chemicals or pollutants in my production, so where I can make a difference is by developing ceramic firings with less use of electricity and gas.
